A protective toe cap and bellows tongue keep out debris from rocky or un-even ground, while a breathable mesh lining ensures there is ventilation to where it is needed most.  Additionally, you can rely on a Kinetic Fit™ BASE removable contoured insole for flexible support and a lightweight EVA foam midsole for day-long comfort. A sticky Merrell rubber outsole also lends a high level of traction.
